“I think we're going to see Auburn lean more and more on the passing game in this one. Everyone is talking about how this is a great opportunity to get the Tiger run game rolling again, and while Ole Miss has allowed some big rushing yardage to a couple of different players, I think they've shown more susceptibility through the air over the course of SEC play. Bryce Young, Hendon Hooker, and KJ Jefferson all had big games through the air (with Hooker and Jefferson also making hay on the ground), so that leads me to believe that this is actually a perfect setting for Bo Nix. With the way he's improved in the passing game and the way that I think the coaches have seen him as a deadlier runner, then this shapes up to be a big time performance for him. Ole Miss will likely sell out on the run again, just like everyone has, and it just gives Bo a little more space to work. Defensively, Auburn gets to work against an Ole Miss team that boasts the current Heisman favorite in Matt Corral, and while he'll get his yards and a few touchdowns, it's imperative to make one or two big stops and rely on a Halloween nighttime crowd to help rattle him into a key turnover. I think Auburn gets it, especially if we finally get Owen Pappoe back in the fold. ”
